Accessibility shaped the prototype
Brailly began as a tactile learning project. Accessibility is part of both the physical interaction and how we present the work online, while the project remains an evolving prototype.
- The physical prototype centres tactile input and spoken feedback rather than a screen-led learning flow.
- Early prototypes were tested with blind and low-vision participants in Helsinki, and their feedback shaped the device.
- This website uses semantic headings, descriptive image text, and visible keyboard focus states. We welcome reports of anything we missed.
